Tyre Usage

1. Correct pressure

The use of the correct air pressure is the most important factor for the performance of the tire, which is one of the most important components of the vehicle as they are the only point of contact of the vehicle to the ground.

1.1 Insufficient air pressure

Can cause damage to the structure of the tire cables. Abnormal flexion and tire continued causes a premature rupture of the tire carcass.

1.1.2 Excessive air pressure

May cause premature wear on the central part of the floor, as well as a significant decrease of the contact surface, thus increasing the braking time of the vehicle.

2. Verification interval

The air pressure should be checked regularly (every two weeks). The tires should be checked before the vehicle enter into circulation, i.e. the room temperature. No heat from friction tread. Verification should be carried out with the engine off, for greater precision of the manometer of low pressure, which must be calibrated at least once a year. With the tire temperature increase there will be increased pressure on the same.

3. Permissible load per axle

The tire should not be subjected to a load for which this has not been scaled. Whenever the tire is brought to the effort of maximum permissible load per axle, must be adjusted to the same pressure, in order to avoid premature wear due to heating caused by an increased area of contact with the ground.

4. Durability

The duration of a tire depends on the type of use, the performances of the vehicle, the driving, the roads where it circulates and load that support. Why should watch the wear.
The grooves shall have a height of less than 1.6 mm, because the water flow becomes ineffective and the vehicle go into aquaplaning.
When changing tyres must realize that the lifetime of these will not be the same of the previous, even if they are exactly the same as they were mounted in series. All elements of the suspension also suffer more or less significant damage which will reduce the lifetime of the tyre and consequently a decrease in the performance of the same. Take a particular care never to wear the tire beyond safety rubber layer 1.6 mm, because it may derail the same retreading.

5. Crossing

Periodically, care should be taken so that the tire has a uniform wear. Such as the alignment of vehicle and the crossing of the tires until the tire reaches its “half-life”. Hit the “half-life” tires with increased wear, should pass to the rear axle and the new tires should always be placed on the front axle.

6. Care privately

Where the driver feel vibration with the speed increase, it shall avail itself of the services of qualified entities, as such the Monte Car Tyres. To check for possible damages in the tire structure, caused by blows in pits or tours. Verification of the calibration of the wheels and steering alignment as well as potential gaps and flaws in the suspension of the vehicle.
